hmm. what exactly are you asking for? or hoping to achieve??

your thread states -r or +r, buy whatever suits your dvd burner. Buy either ritek or verbatim to start with. Also gget some rw's to iron out bugs

you also ask what do i buy to copy dvd's. What type?? I hope movies you own only. Download dvd shrink, dvd decrypter, and nero 6 ultra (only nero has to be paid for, the download is 30 day trial)

These answers have been done heaps before, try searching the forums, and checking the guide section on how to burn your dvds.
Also if you need help after reading the guides feel free to post back but try to include as much info as possible (type of problem, any error msg's, system specs, media, etc)

deadcat has a point, I'm not sure what you're asking either. From the title it seems you're saying dvd+r or dvd-r. If that's the case use rw's til you get the hang of it, and then I don't think it makes much difference. Some say -r plays in more standalones, I have used all and can't tell a bit of difference. Brands mean more than type. You can get ritek G04 for .69ea/100 at meritline or as deadcat said verbatim, which wal-mart has rite now for 1.75 ea. Nero Ultra 6 is the most complete video/audio package out there, you can get it at eagletronics for 49.00 rite now, it normally sells for 99.00
