    Hi All,

I've just backed up a video using DeCrypter. I playback and the picture is BIG, too big for the 17" monitor I use. Does something need altering in the graphics card? It's a NVidia GeForce 6200. I backed up another film a few months back and everything was ok then.
    Any help greatfully recieved.

    Thanks, Pete.

Just wondering if it is a regular movie back up or if it is a downloaded, not so great quality movie back up. In my experience, any regular movie back up will play back fine on your monitor.

Check to make sure the resolution is set high for your graphics card, although I don't think there will be any difference in size, just quality.

Can you play back the same back up disc in a stand alone DVD player? Does it react the same or different?

    Best of luck,

    Hi JB,
It's a back up of a DVD. It has recorded and it plays back, on another PC, ok. Not on a stand alone player though, so something is amiss. On the PC with the NVidia the TV part is also showing an oversize picture. I think I need to have a look in that direction too.
Not to worry I'll have a fiddle and see if it gets better. I just wondered if someone had a similar problem and it may have just been a case of look at such and such setting.
I don't back up that often, so I do 'forget' what I'm doing half the time.
    Regards, Pete.

Found the problem! New NVidia drivers! Did a roll-back, excellent picture on ALL PCs. Just need to work out why stand alones aren't playing it.
    Thanks for feedback.

Still a great site even though it's been emasculated.
    Good Luck to AfterDawn.
    Pete.
