Have a Sony DRU 500. I can copy movies to -r's and -rw's and +rw's that play fine in all my standalone players but when I record them to +r's they will only play in my JVC. I have used NERO, last 3 versions, Gear Pro, and even tryed DVD Decrypter to burn in ISO mode and always get the same results. I am open to any suggestions, Please help. no i have'nt , but are u using the same type of media throughout despite using + and - R? DVD players can be quite picky Let me know what u have been using.
i have the same trouble,when burned to +r it plays fine in pc and my brothers stand alone jvc but does not play in my bush stand alone, a guy e mailed a few months ago with a program that when it burns a r+ disc it make a stand alone read it as a -R i did not try it and have since formayed my drive and did not back up the program if i find it again i will mail to you
