Total noob, never burned dvd before.

I'm trying burn files onto a dvd-r using nero. I'm using the DVD-ROM (ISO) compilation, starting a multisession.
After burning the first session, the DVD is not recognized by the system at all. I know this is kind of vague, but not sure what else might be relevant. The burn goes fine (including Nero's post-burn verification). I have some XP services disabled, but don't think any are related to this. I also have disabled XP's built-in burning using the drive's properties tab in windows explorer but don't think that matters either.

    System: Tosh sattelite 1955
    OS: WinXp Home
    Drive: Tosh SD-R6012
    Media: Fujifilm DVD-R
    SW: Nero v5.5.10.35

other SW installed: Alcohol 120 v1.4.8
    Blindwrite v4.5.7.92

    Any help appreciated!

first of all mate when the wizrd starts up and you select dvd click other dvd modes then click dvd video when the browser comes up there should be an audio_ts folder and a video_ts folder

move u r .vob files etc into the video_ts folder and leave the audio_ts folder empty

    and try burning like that

    b4sule,

What type of files are you dealing with ?

What we deal with in this forum is the backing up of commerical DVD movies. I don't know what you are dealing with but if it's possible for us to help we'll give it a try :)

    Pete
