I have one dvdr and am trying to make another copy of it. I am using DVD decrypter and I keep getting an error that says this:

    I/0 Error!
    Device [1:0:0]LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-8325 VTS3 (D:)(ATA)

    ScsiStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 28 00 00 04 00 01 00 00 01 00
    Interpretation: Read (10)- Sector: 262160

    Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 11 00 00 00 00 00
    Interpretation: Unrecovered Read Error

Any help would be appreciated as I have no idea what this stuff means or what to do.

first of all if the first disc is a copy you don't need to use decrypter, you can just do copy/paste in windows

if that doesn't work we can check out the media itself - download dvdinfopro (free) and do a media info check, pasting the details here. I'll look to see if your burner's firmware is out of date (you have 'VTS3' currently)

edit - can't seem to work out whether your firmware is out of date or not.

check DMA is set correctly - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/DMA.html

think that'll do it, until you come back with dvdinfopro output..

someone will probably pop by and verify your burner's firmware

well you've tried the 2 best ways, it's real junk media, regardless of whether the copy was created correctly, ie decent burn speed etc
