I've used DVD X COPY XPRESS to copy a few DVD's onto DVD-R's ... When I try to make another copy from my DVD-R Copy DVD X COPY XPRESS won't let me do it. When I try to use DVD Shrink I click "Open Disc" Than I select the drive that the DVD-R is in and it when I click "Open" it gives me this error "DVD Shrink Encountered an Error and cannot Continue .. The Error is .. Failed to Open File ... The Reason Is ... The System cannot find the file specified"

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks

DVDXCopy has a built in security measure that stops you copying the disc. I think you can still do it using nero though. You dont need to open DVD Shrink since it has laready been ripped and so there will be no CSS encryption on it. that explains the Shrink error. Try right clicking on the drive and clicking explore. Then copy and paste the files to a new folder. I might actually add all the VOB's into TMPGEnc DVD Author and create a new IFO etc.. as the DVDXCopy one will always have copying protection.

Ive never had a problem copying originals onto DVD-R then onto further DVD-Rs.

I use DVD-Shrink to copy the original to the HD. Then copy the subsequent files onto DVD-R using Nero. The resulting disk can then be copied as many times as u like using DVD-Decrypter.

Right click on the drive it is in and then explore. Copy all the files into a new folder on your deskyop and burn in Nero or something.

Is VTS_01_2 one of the main VOB files? Also, does this file play if you select it using WinDVD?

I use Alcohol 120% for DVD-R to DVD-R and just use the copy wizard. This works Just as well for Backing up original ps2 games to DVD-R

Even easier is to Read ISO , Write ISO in DVD Decrypter for PS2 games

I use Nero Burning Rom for copying a back up !!

They sound as crap as Princo (imho)

    Try Ritek G03 (£0.88) or Ritek G04 (£1.19)

Ritek G03 X2 (with the right firmware)
Ritek G04 X4 (a damn good disc , is also Traxdata Ritek that burn at X4 for the same sort of price)
