Hi M8s, I've checked the search functions and cannot find any reference to converting a DVD+R to DVD-R. I Googled the question and found sofware called "Toast" but it is seemingly only for Mac. I have a perfectly good copy on DVD+R but cannot get a copy to DVD-R to play on my standard DVD player. I've tried all software I have and none can convert. Help Please. Regards, Dave
You do not have to convert a DVD+R disc to DVD-R disc. All you do is use a program to make a 1 to 1 copy (Nero Copy DVD option will do) or use a ripping program like DVD Decypter to rip the DVD+R disc to an ISO on your Hard Drive then burn it to the DVD-R media.
It is not possible to physically "convert" DVD+R to DVD-R. As said above, just re-copy to the appropriate DVD media format.
making a copy of a copy to any DVD blank media should be the easiest thing to do! There are no encryptions to deal with, the disk already fits onto a blank media so it's just a copy and paste job! There are plenty of programs that will do this!
