What is the method used to backup a dvd-r to a hard drive, so the image can be used on a xkey? thanks in advance
Hi mjhat- open the disc in My Computer or Computer. Assuming it's a DVD-Video, you would simply copy the Video_TS folder on the disc to your hard drive. I don't know what xkey is. Would you please provide more details on it? Almost any player can play the video by just dragging and dropping the folder into it.
He posted in the xbox 360 section & is wanting to copy a game disc. Xkey is hardware to play games from an external hdd. The fact they're even asking this question means they don't have the hardware to copy games from discs on a pc. Better to get a RGH chip installed on the 360 then ripping games will be easy. There's plenty on youtube that cover this topic & should've been first port of call
Thanks for your reply. I've never had one of those boxes. I'm not picking on mjhat but don't you just love it when you try to help people and, often times, they just disappear so that it's not clear that you're helping? I think it's inconsiderate.
Posts can sometimes be across multiple forums on different sites. I sometimes copy & paste into web search the topic title & see the same person asking the same question elsewhere word for word. In this case not so much. One can only assume the op has disappeared into the ether, shich is what i'm about about to do right now, here watch ... now you see me now you don't ; poo'f
