DVD+R/W

    Hi forum, I have a Sony dvd+rw drive 4x recorder that is conected to my computer. I also have stand alone dvd recorder with a 160g HHD. My question is, what is a good software that is out there that would erase (reformat the media)a dvd+rw with my sony 510-OUL DVD drive connected to my computer, because I have a few DVD+rw media with junk on them and my stand alone dvd recorder would not overwrite or erase it. I am sorry if this is not the right forum to post this question. Any help is very much appreciated...

    Try ImgBurn (free)
    http://imgburn.com

    Once installed go to Tools>Drive>Erase Disc>full

    Thanks binkie7 for the quick response. I have Imgburn and hit tool but drive is grey out. can't click on it..

    External burner? Make sure it's connected.
    Is the drive listed under 'destination'
    Using the latest version of imgburn 2.0?
