DVD+R with nero or DVD Decrypter?

I have a NEC ND1300A DVD burner.
The 1 issue im troubled with is ...
When I burn a movie with DVD Decypter IT wont read on my dvd-rom drive.
(which doesn't support DVD+R media)
But when I use NERO or Elby Clone DVD 2 it will read on my DVD-ROM drive. (lg DVD-ROM DRD8160B) Even when the book setting is set to DVD+R.
Why is this? I've backedup like 30 movies with DVD Decrypter & none work on my dvd-om drive i use nero & they do. why????????????
It might have something to do with udf & iso but i dont know.
does anyone know?
which is better ect ect i dont want an erroronous disc

 

It sounds like Nero is bitsetting your DVD+R to DVD-ROM.

 

Thanks for the quick reply ... But its not Ive used DVDIdentefier & nero
ifo tool to verify this its reading as DVD+R
wtf is going on?

 

It will show as a DVD+R but the actual bitsetting can be DVD-Rom

 

Before you burn with DVDD there is a little book in the bottom right hand corner that you click on to bookmark your DVD+R to DVD-ROM.
