dvd-r won't play on all dvd players

    hello, I made a lovely slideshow/video DVD-R and am able to play it on two laptops and on one of our DVD players but not on the others. I looked in the manual for one of the DVD players where it won't play and it does say it supports DVD-R. Any ideas? :(

    P.S. I used Nero Vision 7 to create the disc and am on a trial license for the software. This is my first use of the software.

    make sure your setting are region free and to honest some dvd players
    just dont play dvd-rs my cheap ones from asda play them £20
    my £200 sony one doesnt also make sure there set to region 2
