Hi, I have a Liteon 1673s, when I put in blank memorex DVD+R disc, it didn't recognize the disc. Do you know why? Thanks.
Have you updated to the latest firmware for your DVD burner. If not, go here and find your firmware: http://www.rpc1.org/

Do a search on memorex media and I think you will find the problem. Memorex is the least recomended media, causes more problems than any other media I know of. If it wasn't for first time customers, memorex wouldn't be in bussiness. Your problem most likely is the memorex media. Try some verbatum datalifeplus, taiyo yuden, maxell, fuji, or sony. Stay away from memorex, hp, phillips, no name brands, and retail store branded media. Mort
