I have been trying several versions of CCE and DVD-RB and all result are the same. My DVD9 (8,5 gb) becomse 7,5 gb after the process is done. Now I've searched doom9, this forum and I think pretty much every usefull URL found by Google, but I keep getting the same result. Yes I've tried the TargetSectors thing in the .ini also the CCE TargetSectors. I've used CCE 2.7 (latest version) and the 2.6 versions. I've tried DVD-RB 0,96 and 0,97 and the PRO version 1.03. All give me the same results and I've tried modifying the .ini in all of those cases. Below is the rebuilder.ini file I used with the last time I've tried and the output generated by DVD-RB ------------------------------------------------------------------- rebuilder.ini ------------------------------------------------------------------- [Options] TargetSectors=2265000 Mode=1 OneClick=1 ReduceOpt=0 NoWarn=1 AdditionalOutput=1 LogFile=1 QuEncHQ=1 EncoderMinimized=1 RemoveDTS=1 HC_Quality=1 HC_Matrix=1 SkinVersion=3 HalfD1=00 Convert_16_9=00 DisableInterlace=00 CCE=1 Skin=Rockas Original Completed=1 [Paths] QuEnc=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\Encoders\QuEnc\QuEnc.exe ReJig=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\Encoders\ReJig\ReJig.exe HC=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\Encoders\HC Encoder\HCbatch.EXE ProCoder=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\Encoders\EclPro\EclPro.exe DECOMB=C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\Decomb521.dll MPEG2DEC=C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\DGDecode.dll Working=F:\Personal\DVD9\ Output=F:\Personal\DVD5\ CCE250=C:\Program Files\Custom Technology\Cinema Craft Encoder SP\cctsp.exe CCENEW=C:\Program Files\Custom Technology\Cinema Craft Encoder SP\EclCCE.exe Source=I:\VIDEO_TS\ [CCEOptions] VBR_bias=25 Quality_prec=16 eclPasses=8 [Audio] Selected=1 [Subpictures] Selected=1 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Output generated by CCE 2.5 + DVD Rebuilder 0,97 ------------------------------------------------------------------- [00:54:31] One Click encoding activated... ----------------- [00:54:32] Phase I, PREPARATION started. - VTS_01: 4.130.572 sectors. -- Scanning and writing .D2V file -- Processed 246.521 frames. -- Building .AVS and .ECL files - Reduction Level for DVD-5: 53,0% - Overall Bitrate : 3.491Kbs - Space for Video : 4.201.772KB - HIGH/LOW/AVERAGE Cell Bitrates: 3.492/3.484/3.491 Kbs [01:05:46] Phase I, PREPARATION completed in 11 minutes. Yes I've also tried three click mode and different dvds, (I always decrypt to .iso file mode by default when working with dvds, its faster that way) So currently stuck with outputs being generated only 1gb less than the original dvd9. (The dvd I was trying it with was a Stand up comedian from the netherlands) If anyone has any more suggestion I could try, Many thanks in advancce // Nr|Five
okay I overlooked that this may help from your ini file you have chosen cce sp while you are using cce 2.5 I know they handle the process differently, but how?? try setting the path in the right field in the set-up menu (reverse the order) and then choose the right one from the>>settings>>cce settings menu hope that helps =)
L8ter, trying what you just said, will have the results soon. Beltline, that PRO version is not mine, someone gave it to me to try it, will ask him about the newer version. Still that should make no difference imo... // Nr|Five
completely uninstall all components, reinstall .97 version into clean directory making sure to point the paths in the right direstion and choose the right encoder/mode through menu do not use any ini. file additions just do it default I can't comment on the validity of your friends copy because his methods are one's that fill the forum's up w/ ?'s that need not be answered as there are almost alway's problem's. if this problem persist use hc to check your cce version's validity the problem more than likely is the encoder or rebuilders ability to communicate w/ it!
Tried it but didnt get an output with HC Encoder, also tried different .dll files and older versies of AviSynth. One thing that did struck me was the output files generated by CCE which were all black with red lines near the bottom of the screen. The audio was there but no movie. Any clues / ideas on how to fix that? I'm still thinking it has something to do with the CCE 2.5 and EClCCE. // Nr|Five
this is a problem w/ ntsc& pal I believe you can use different program's to convert do a search. here is an iffy work around that may work for you I've yet to try it as I don't have any sources but it may save you alot of headache for this title http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopi...start=30&sid=80876f8e2b7b7db431e7f4a3d00f603a dvdsanta I know will do the conversion. and vso's old brain child divxtodvd will do it although it goes by another name now (memory has failed me )google is your friend
This might be considered thread bumping but atleast I thought I'd let you all know how I fixed it. Basicly did the following: Removed EVERYTHING - Installed latest DVD-RB - Installed latest CCE - Installed latest EClCCE, which gave me an error that it wouldnt work/be compatible. - Started encoding and voila, perfect result within 12-14 hours. So didn't use AviSynth at all or any other encoders Hope this will help others also in the future. // Nr|Five
it seems I may have been off on the pal thing I found this on the rebuilder site http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/modules.php?name=FAQ&myfaq=yes&id_cat=1&categories=#4 notice the mention of 3rd party software designers
Hi, I had a similar problem a little while ago, and the solution was to upgrade to the latest version of DVD-RB. So just update your DVD-RB, which is free, and your problems should be solved. Cheers, Mark
