    I am on Win 7 Ultimate x64.

I know kaspersky was or is known to conflict with CCE. I know from past experience Nod32 under Win 7 conflicts as well. See here:

Now as I documented here I was able to resolve the problem by simply telling Nod32s real time scanner not to scan m2v files. Well I have just done an upgrade to some SSDs for my OS drive so I started with a fresh install of Win 7. I excluded M2V files as I documented in the other thread. That resolved the error:
However I am now faced with a new error:

Now I have once again confirmed Nod32 is the culprit of this error as well. After lots of testing I decided to try disabling Nod32 to do a copy. With Nod32 disabled I no longer suffered the error stating "The handle is invalid."

So does any one have an idea of how to fix this?

No but how about you use AVG (free) in the meantime, at least you'll be covered while you investigate what's wrong with Nod32.
