Back in the simple days I was able to link two VHS recorders together to back-up my films - is this possible with DVD recorders? I.e can you hardwire the copy without spending hours sat in front of the pc?
Yes, of course. It's just a matter of running cables from the "outputs" of your source player to the "inputs" of your recorder. It's a piece of cake. But this won't work with copy-protected movies - that's what you need a computer and the right software for.
