Are there any dvd recorders that will allow you to record anything on tv without being bothered by copyright signals that may be sent restricting what you can and can't record?

The problem is usually with your local cable company sinding crappy signals that look* like copyguard.

I have four PVRs, different brands with Guide+ and ReplayTV both, and have recorded thousands of hours--without ever getting a single copyright notice.

In fact, you should *never* get one when recording to the HDD-but might when using digital cable and recording to DVD.

I think my Panasonic PVRs will allow me to copy protected DVDs to the hard drive, and transfer them to DVD-Ram, but erases them from the Hard Disk when the copy is over.
