dvd region settings error message : c:13

Hi every1

I have a Sony DVP-5335 dvd player which was chipped by sony for all regions. It is stuck on america and i cant change it. I get a message "c:13" on the screen and on the dvd player. Usally i have to turn off the thing and press 2 to get it back to england but it won't work. It just flashes the message and won't play. Is there a way to reset the whole machine, ot any other solution. Thanks.

Thanks, i found the manual at the bottom of a dusty draw and discoverd the solution to my problem, "Remove disk and clean (see page 6)".
