I have a DVD that was given to me that will not play on my Sony DVD player hooked to my TV set. It seems I can play it on my PC if I start region free. Anyone know how to re-burn my DVD so it will play on my Sony DVD player??
Decrypter, Shrink & AnyDVD will remove the region code to play it in a stand alone however if it is PAL and you have NTSC you will need to convert it. Click out this link for help: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/88644
Thanks Binkie7, I went the decryptor and Shrink route which always worked for me before and the Sony says it is an 'area' thing but must not be. Do you know how I can find if it is in PAL or NTSC format before I waste more DVD burning and testing??
