    Hi,
Great forum guys! Keep up to good work.
Anyway, here's my problem, I recently followed one of the guides from here on ripping dvd to xvid with ac3 audio, the problem is it is a bit darker then the original. The dvd i ripped is Friends.
Also, i am having problems with the subtitles as well. I can only get subtitles for the first episode for each of the dvd. When i extract the subs for the other episodes the size is really small (something like 2kbs).

    Thanks for any help

The brightness difference is most likely just a playback issue.
About the subs, no idea really. The wrong stream perhaps?

    thanks for the reply,
when u say playback issue do u mean like i should try different players? bcos i've tried it with BS Player and vlc already but its still a tad darker than the original.
Is there a program or some way for me to adjust the brightness of the already ripped avi?
Also, another problem i didn't mention before is that the volume is quite low compare to the original.

    Thanks, really appreciate the help.
