DVD Ripping

    I have a DVD I want to rip into an AVI or MPG so how do I go about it? What program do I use? Anyone that helps I will hook you up with a copy of the movie.

    will my dvd player play svcd? what exactly is super vcd?

    SVCD produces excellent quality video that most of the modern DVD players can play, but one good quality movie backup takes 3 CDs (while good quality DivX takes 2 CDs).
