Hey everyone I have an LG GSA-H54N DVD drive in an external enclosure that I'm using with my laptop. I had no issues with it up until last night. Whats happening is that the enclosure itself is getting power just fine, but the DVD drive isn't. I opened up the enclosure, checked to make sure all my cables were connected properly and dusted it out and still nothing. Is there anything I can do?
do you have or can borrow a multimeter to check the output voltage? do you have or can borrow another rom drive which doesn't have to be dvd to see if yours is the problem & not the enclosure?
