hi my dvd rom drive has not been working for a while now. my cd-rw drive works fine but the dvd drive cannot read anything at all. i've done the windows troubleshoot procecudre but that lead to nowhere. i clicked in the properties of it and went to driver details.there is no checkmark by the gearspidWDM file. any help would be appreciated.
i uninstalled it in the device manager. then i restarted and it just showed up again, like i didnt uninstall it. it still doesnt work.
