dvd rom problem

    Hello,

    i have a samsung dvd-616f, a couple of hours ago it was playing and reading dvds fine..
    It will now only read cds...

    its driving me a bit mad..anybody got any clues...

    Did you put in a 4x DVD disc by any chance? If it's still under guarantee you should return it as it sounds as though you have lazer problems.
