We all know about Sony and their famed rootkits. I need to know if DVD's are gonna be infesting my computer with these unfriendly little software programs and how I can prevent it.
anydvd will prevent them from being installed http://www.ghacks.net/2006/02/15/dvd-rootkit-on-the-way/ ^^ that has details on the stuff and how to remove em. sounds pretty crap if u as me, why would they do such a thing, shaaame on them.
Downloading a rootkit sniffer from http://www.resplendence.com/downloads which is free. Never know where one will pick up cooties. I do rent DVD's.
