I have had this error a number of times with both nero and DVD decrypter it says the image i am trying to burn has too many sectors for my DVD-R, yet i read somewhere that DVD-R's have more sectors than DVD+R? I also read that for movies you can strip stuff off of them like extra features to make them able to burn onto 4.36 GB DVD's, but how do i go about stripping stuff off a ps2 game like Metal Gear Solid 2? Or is it even possible to burn games that have more sectors than the DVD will allow? Any help is much appreciated, thank you!
yeah thanks, thats great for movies, but i guess it's impossible to shrink ps2 games... so far Metal Gear Solid 2 and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas have been the only games that i havent been able to burn... sucks.. :C
I backed up San Andreas perfectly. I remember I had lost the original and backed it up. It worked fine with dvd decrypter. I used dvd+r. You shouldn't have any problems with San Andreas.
alright well thats wack then, i'm pretty damn sure San Andreas is a much larger game than Metal Gear Solid 2... i just wanna fit the damn game on a dvd and it's being a biatch! If anyone can give me little direction or something that would be awesome, thanks.
well, this is the wrong forum to talk about ps2 games get it moved to the correct section (pm a mod) btw,if its mgs2 substance you are talking about, that game is way bigger than gta sa,cause its dvd-9,and needs to be split onto 2 dvd's (not an easy task)
