I have a Plextor 712A burner, and am in search of some top notch media in the USA. I have a substantial DVD collection, and family often like to help themselves to it. I got tired of either A: The movie I want to see myself being GONE, or B: It coming back scratched. I want to simply burn a copy as a loaner. I am looking for good some good RW media that is very compatible with standalone players, and has excellent longevity so I can get many burns out of them. I would appriciate any suggestions.

Sony makes a good RW disk, too! Media code RICOHJPN. I only use Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim disks but resently bought 25 Sony RW disks....I'll never use that many RW disks ever but it's nice to know that you have them available when you might need a decent disk to use for an ReWritable.
