hope this is the right place to post this i'm new so if isn't don't be too harsh!! just a quick question i backed up a dvd onto dvd+RW it played ok on my dvd player in my pc but not on my playstaion i get disk read error any help would be appreciated. oh and the make of dvd was memeorex could this be the problem.
=) Bingo! My money is on the media. As I recall Memorex was not that great of media. Try switching media to something like Verbaitum's. There's also a list of media and what it will work on at www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia have a look there and see. Also make sure your burn speed is set slow, 2x or 4x. Let us know what happens =)
playstation is also pickey on what it reads/plays and deline is correct, use better media and remember, burn at 4x or less. also, make sure your firmware is up to date.
