DVD+RW plays perfectly, DVD+R plays for 25 minutes then freezes

I've been having some crazy problems with my burner since I got it a couple of weeks ago. Just recently I figured that I finally got it fixed. Anyways, getting to the point, my problem is that I burned a disc image on a DVD+R and found that after about 25 minutes of good quality, it begins to skip and then freezes in all my DVD players. I copy the same image to a DVD+RW and played it on the Apex(which is the only one that's capable of reading it) and it played perfectly. I took a disc image of that DVD+RW copy, and copied onto a DVD+R, and again, it would not work on any of my DVD players after the same exact part in the movie (or about 25 minutes in).

    So here's the facts.

    1) I have a Creative DVD+R/RW -R/RW 8x Dual DVD burner.
    2) I have the most updated drivers and firmware for the burner.
    3) I have tried making the copies with Nero and DVD Decrypter and have gotten the same results (Freezing at the same exact part of the movie)
    4) My DVD+RW's are Fujifilm and my DVD+R's are Verbatim.(Discs are not scratched or anything. I made about 5 coasters that all play identical in the DVD players)
    5) My DVD players : Crummy Apex that plays anything, Expensive Panasonic, and PS2. (Identical results with all players, even the Apex)
    6) I have installed the ASPI using the ForceASPI thingy.
    7) InCD is uninstalled and Nero has been reinstalled since then.
    8) Both IDE channels are operating on the DMA mode after uninstall and reinstall.
    9) Mind you, DVD+RW copy worked perfect on Apex, DVD+R copy did not.

I think thats about all that I can think of for now, if anyone can help my it would be much appreciated, thanks.

Try slowing the burn down. Max write speed for a RW is 2.4x ... I like burning my +R's at 2.4x, if you don't want to slow it down that much at least burn at 4x.
