I recently started using DVD+RW discs to burn DVD movies, but have had audio sync problems playing them back in my DVD player. They are working correctly using my PC. Am I correct in assuming that my player is not compatable with DVD+RW format ?? How can I tell ?? Is there any way to correct this using different burn software ? Thanks for all suggestions.

The manual for the standalone player should list compatible media - or search this link.

You could scan the disk for errors with the free Nero tool 'CD-DVD Speed' or try the disk in another player.
If you stop the playback then restart, it might bring the audio back into sync.
If that's the case (or there are disk errors)I would try cutting back the burning speed or a different brand.
