I have something on a DVD+RW and I want to clone it to a DVD+R. I was just wondering what the best program to do this would be? I have tried IMGBurn but, when I choose Create image form disc and hit read disc. An error message comes up: (There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to create this image. Would you like to continue anyway?)I have tried it on 3 different computers and they all say the same thing. On one I have 218 GB and on the other one I have 23.1 GB. Looks like that should be enough but, I don't know. If anyone here know more about this or knows of a different program to use please let me know.
It says the total size is 455 GB and I have 218 GB free space. Yeah Im trying to copy it to the hard drive then burn it to a different disc.
Since it's on a DVD+RW you should be able to just copy it to a folder on your HDD without any software and then try to make an ISO or just burn the files directly with ImgBurn.
OK. I have copied it to a folder on the hard drive. Now when I open IMGBurn I choose Write image file to disc. Then where it say Source I choose the file I want to burn to a disc. This is the message I get: Your in the wrong 'Mode' for burning DVD Video files. Switch to 'Build' mode and then try again. Is that the mode I need to be in?
I was able to burn it that time. I have a question though. I only have 1 show on the +RW that is 2 hrs long. When I burned it to the +R it says I now have 4 titles on the disc. When I select the next title it takes me back to the main menu. I was just wondering if that's normal or not?
Sounds like the navigation isn't correct. This can be corrected with PgcEdit but there's a lot of learning needed in order to use the program. Another thought just came to me. I should have thought of this before. You can open your disc with DVD Shrink and make an ISO.
Open Shrink. Click on Open Disc. Click on Backup. Then you'll see Select backup target. In the dropdown box you'll see ISO Image File.
I just got finished burning the ISO File to a disc using IMGBurn. When I put the +R disc in my DVD player it is still saying there is 4 titles on the disc. Is there anything else I should try doing to fix this? Or should it be fine the way it is?
Although my status shows me as a newbie, that is far from true. I was an avid "member" of Afterdawn back when the original DvdDecrypter first appeared several years ago. Now on to the question at hand. I routinely copy from DVD+RW to DVD+R using DVDShrink and ImgBurn. Simple as pie my friends. Open the RW disk with Shrink. If you notice in the right hand Title List column you will find two of every title on the disk. These are mirror titles. They are exactly the same, as you can tell by the length of play time. Why does a RW disk read like that? I've stopped trying to figure that out long ago. It just does. That's why your two hour movie turns out to be four hours. You copied the same files twice. Drag one of each titleset (not two of the same length)to the lefthand selection column. Click the Backup Tab. Choose create ISO image. You can choose create ISO image and burn with ImgBurn if you have two DVD drives and put your blank disk in the empty drive and choose that destination. Otherwise wait until the ISO is encoded and swap the RW for the +R. Then open ImgBurn, Browse for your saved ISO and burn to +R.
Now, when I open the disc in Shrink there is no Title List in the right hand corner. All that is on the right side is the Audio and Subpicture options. On the left side it has the name of the disc and says Menus and Main Movie. When I select Main Movie another thing comes up that says Title 1,3. When I click that nothing happens. Am I missing something?
