I have a stand alone rca dvd rw player that plays my burned dvds fine. When it loads a factory DVD and auto play is engaged my rf modulator shuts off and it goes back to cable. The DVD player is still playing the disc, but with out the modulator on I can't watch anything. This problem doesn't occur with the burned dvd's and this is a new deveolpement since hooking the cable/dvd rw/tv together through a modulator. No idea where the problem is. Thinking it's a rca player problem?
Sounds like the modulator to me............. You can check your dvd player's manual, and find how to reset to factory settings. That may help too.
