This seems to come up frequently enough. Here's the link that enables the autoburn with ImgBurn option in Dvd Shrink. http://rapidshare.com/files/35280436/Shrink_w_ImgBurn.rar Download the zip and extract. Go to C:/ programs files/Dvd Shrink and drag and drop the new Shrink icon to replace the old one. Now you're set to autoburn with ImgBurn! EDIT: fixed link. (thanks Binkie)
Mods, we get this question asked a lot. Here is the solution. Can we get this as a stickie here in the shrink forum ?
Hi You are not clear with your thoughts, will you give more information. So I can help you out in this matter.
hello, first post, after installng shrink 3.2 from the link above, i still only have the burn with nero option. i did not uninstall the previous shrink 3.2 before installing the one from the link above. it did install however and there is only one shrink 3.2 on my hard drive. when installing the imgburn version, does it have a check box for autoburn with imgburn? thanks.
yes, it gives me the option of selecting to my C: drive. thats the only option.. and on edit/preferences/file i/o it is checked "burn with nero"... thanks.
Uncheck burn with Nero and close Shrink. If you have already downloaded the ZIP file at the top of this page, open that ZIP file and extract DVD Shrink 3.2.exe to your DVD Shrink folder. When asked if you want to replace the file in the folder with this one, click on yes.
not sure what's happening, i even uninstalled dvdshrink 3.2 and reinstalled the one linked. when i click help the version is 3.2.0.15.. once that is installed, where to i click autoburn to imgburn? thanks again!
Just a little update. Imgburn's most recent version is 2.4.2.0 available here: http://imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
If I follow the instructions from Rich (earlier post) using Dawine and DVDShrink and Fairmount...do I need to consider IMGBurn? I have the most recent iMac machine (only a Mac user for about 3 weeks now). I expected to be able to burn the image created (ISO) but so far, two failures. First it said I didn't have enough room on the disk, Second, it burned the first 5 minutes and quit. There was an error message after that. This is getting frustrating. Help?
