I know that some movies will not burn with dvd shrink. If they do not work on dvd shrink I use dvd decypter. Every once in a while I have problem burning dvds with both programs. The movie I am trying to backup is The new Zorro movie. DVD shrink says invalid dvd navigation structure. On one of my computers I have dvd decrypter set at aggresive so it goes to about 12 percent and then stay there while the other computer wuth dvd decrypter with default settings gives me an error. One other thing is that when dvd shrink does work some of my movies skip about 30 to 40 minutes in. Am I burning them to slow?
You have two different problems. The one with Zorro is caused by the protection, dl DVDFab Decrypter and rip to your HDD and then process with Shrink. The skipping/freezing problem could be due to bad media, burning too fast or firmware not up to date. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/software.htm
