    Here is my observation.
    1. If DVD plays on a computer, then it will play on a NEWER DVD player, but may NOT play on an older DVD player.
    2. A few people told me that DVD-R is around longer than DVD+R, so DVD-R is likely more compatible with older DVD players. However, I used more DVD+R in the past than DVD-R and they all played well on my older DVD player, personally it is hard to believe.
    3. I think it is a software problem, but they are all created by the same softwares. It is a mystery to me.
