DVD Shrink and Nero 6.6.0.16

Gentlemen: I cannot burn movies using "DVD Shrink" and Newly acquired Nero 6.6.0.16 ( packaged with HP DVD740 burner ).
I am not very good at uninstalls and installs .
What must I do to replace "Nero 6.6.0.16" with "Nero 6.6.0.18"? Can you be somewhat definitive so I don't louse everything up. IF I am succesful, will nero 6.6.0.18 be compatible with "HP DVD740" or do I have to got rid of this burner? Thank you for any information that you can offer. ronnies

 

To update to 6.6.0.18 just go to this link

You will not need to uninstall your current version for as far as I know it was bug free.

Can you give us more details on your burner, my search revealed either Matshita (Panasonic) UJDA740 or
Plextor PX-740A

 

hello Gwendolin and thanks for your informative reply. I have just purchased a new DVD burner and with that burner came the "Nero 6.6.0.16" software. The burner is Hewlett Packard model HP DVD740. It is equipped with the "LightScribe" feature of which I probably will never use. It does not do well with DVD Shrink. I trust this is what you are refering too. Thanks ronnies

 

hello Gwendolin - again. I noticed that there are two separate thread downloads for the 6.6.0.18. a http//httpdl2.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe AND http//httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe I am informed (by my computer) that they are the same/ Do I have to download BOTH 1 & 2 for completion or is any one of the two OK?

The file being downloaded is the same, you're just able to get it from two different servers. Pick one of the links to get the download, if unable to download from that one, try the other.
