I am running DVD Shrink with AnyDVD and have been experiencing great results.........until now. I can analyze but cannot backup to my hard drive the following: Madagascar, Valiant, Bewitched, Herbie the Love bug (new one). Is there a Disney issue? Bewitched just stops part way thru backup as the the others.

I BELIEVE THE MESSAGE STATES OUT OF MEMORY.

Are you receiving an error message, if so what is it.

This is the first time I've been stumped! Tried to back-up Herbie with everything, CloneDVD2, Recode2, DVDFab Express, Shrink using Any DVD, Decrypter, DVDFab Decrypter, Region Free+CSS. Same thing happens on all of them (STOPS with error at VTS_08_01.VOB,) and just hangs there. Any suggestions? Bewithched, Madagascar went smooth though.

Sounds like you have a dirty/scratched or bad press of Herbie. Try cleaning it off that may help. If it doesn't & since you've tried all the progs your best bet is to exchange it for a new one.

It could also be that you are running in to the new anti-copy schemes the pinheads are using to keep ppl from making copies. Madagascar for sure is one of them, most of the others you listed also. They put a bad cell or two in the movie, and don't reference it in the disc structure. A copy tries to copy everything from the original disc, even the bad cells, and then when shrink or anyother decoder tries to read the file, it notices the bad cell, and stops thinking you ripped the disc wrong, or got bad data. VOB Blanker takes care of that. It is a free program, and it works on ALL the new stuff. It is super easy to use, but the program seems to intimidate many ppl because it looks complicated. It isnt. Supply input folder, output folder, and hit process tab. That is all there is to it. Open the processed files and rip as normal.

I kind of lost it in there as i kept saying how easy it was, and some ppl just couldn't follow instructions, or something..??
Right binkey7 ? Crazy world we live in..

Those pinheads must think they're the shite but little do they know:)
Though they are stopping some people only because they don't follow instructions! Simple ones clearly spelled out - they even have pics!
Hats off to your MaxBurn - you did what you could.

Tried VOBblanker and it worked, nice program!! Although it cut out some parts of the movie but this is the only program that DID back it up. Definately a good fall back program when all else fails. KOODOS to VOBBLANKER. Thanks guys, and gals for the help.
