DVD Shrink crashes when backup button is pushed.

    System specs. :
    Sony Vaio Laptop GRX670
    P4 2.0ghz, 1gb RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 32mb, 40gb internal HDD, 80gb External Segate 7200rpm 1394,
    XP Pro sp-1, Toshiba DVD/RW SD-6012

    DVD Shrink v3.1.7 beta5 and beta4
    Program preforms per all the guides, but when I click the backup button it closes witn no error message, simply just vanishes from the screen.

    Any help is appreciated, I have been using DVD x Copy Express for about a year.
    I have Nero Buring Rom and have deleted Easy CD Creator 6 from the system and still get the same results.

    have you tried this?

    Goto start...run...msconfig
    hit disable all
    then hit yes when you re-boot.
    This will make sure that you have everything disabled. There could be some sort of conflict with other software.
