DVD Shrink doesn't see DVD-R

Shrink only sees the original DVD in the DVD drive, doesn't see DVD-R movie copy

why do you want it to see a movie copy. It doesn't need to be ripped or compressed. You can just copy it.

You don't have to compress it because the burned copy is already under 4.7 GB. Use Nero express if you have Nero 6 and do a copy disc.

Use any of the disc copy programs. Nero, Roxio, or Recordnow.
