I tried to put a copy of "Golden compass" on my hard drive but when the analysis was 10% done it stopped and I got this message:

"DVD Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue
    Failed to read "D:\"
    Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

Is there anything I can do or will this one just not work?

    Hi Bruce.

Iluvendo is right, there's a thread for that title already, and it's worth reading.

To help you out a little though; CRC error is usually the byproduct of one of two problems.
    1. A dirty or scratched disc.

    2. An encryption that Dvd Shrink cannot handle alone.

You need to rip it first with the always updated DvdFab Hd Decrypter, then transcode with Shrink, and burn with ImgBurn. All of which is freeware.

All your best options for keeping up with new encryptions are here:
