Was getting Unable to recover TOC, Could not perform end of Disc-at-once failure errors when burning .iso's, so I installed a different version of NERO, same prob. Hi eight12 Here's some suggestions. 1st edit out your serial # - at the top of the log and begins w/ 5C. Recorder: <Memorex DVD+/-RW Dual-X1>Version: 1.05 Drive can use a firmware update - the latest is 1.07. Here's a link. Older drive and the last update was 2 years ago. But this might be the culprit - Disc Manufacturer ID: CMC.MAG. Try better media like Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell. For this drive look for 8x or lower media. But it might just be time to replace this drive with a newer one. Nero API version: 7.0.8.2 Using interface version: 6.3.1.4 Still have some of Nero 6 left so uninstall Nero, run the clean tool and reinstall Nero.
Sounds like binkie got everything taken care of. Just 2 things to add on in regards to burning ISO image, your best bet is to get ImgBurn. It is one of the best (FREE) ISO image or VIDEO_TS burner out there, it's from LUK of DVD Decrypter. "KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR" means that either your burner doesn't like the media or it's having a hard time performing end of disc-at-once. Try other 1st class media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or Hitachi Maxell (MIJ) for your next project. Best of luck!!
You're welcome and no problem. Keep us posted. Worst case scenario, get Nero's CleanTool to completely wipe out Nero from your system, update to the latest and reinstall "only" Nero back, give it a shot with some high quality as mentioned above and see if that solve your problem. Best of luck!!
Well, I updated the firmware and used imgburn with new media. It worked.......once. I said f it, went and bought a new burner. No probs now. It is a lightscribe drive, but i didnt want to install the software that came with it, low and behold i look on here and found out what I needed(Sure thing 4SE, and a small prog from lightscribe.com.
