I was trying to make a backup copy of Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. When I went to use Shrink I got this error saying: DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Invalid DVD navigation structure. Can someone tell me what that means and how to fix it? Thank you
klv, This just means that this Disc contains Copyright protection that DVDShrink cannot defeat.. You will need to run a decrypter in the background like DVD43 Free or AnyDVD 21 day free trial. So does this mean I don't need decrypter anymore or what? I have shrink, decrypter and anydvd but I don't know if I have everything set up right to use anydvd.
Klv, Decrypter is a very useful program and good to have when needed. Did you rip the movie to HD first using Decrypter or just use Shrink. Was AnyDVD running in the background. Start AnyDVD. It will show a little Red Fox on your tool bar in the bottom right side. Place the Movie disc in your drive. The Fox will turn Grey then back to Red. That means it has taken the protection off the Disc. Now open Shrink and open the Disc. Now just go ahead and use Shrink to make a Full or Re-Authored movie. Save to a VIDEO_TS Folder and burn like you always do with Nero or whatever.. Tell me step by step how you were useing the programs you have and maybe we can see if you maybe got the cart before the horse.. Or Whatever…
