    Hello,
I am new to the scene and have been looking all over the site and others to solve this problem I am having with my DVD backups. I have been using DVD Shrink to rip the files onto my HD and to compress them, then se Instant copy to burn onto various DVD+/-R/W formats and I have the problem with all the formats. Here's the problem, I have found with Shrink that if I compress the file beyond lvl 3 or so, the DVDs I produce A. don't have any sound at all, but the video is perfect, or B. I am getting sound but with subtitles? I have tried various settings with the audio and deleted the subtitles, and it seems to be random. Does anyone one anything that could maybe help me out? I don't know which program is doing it, or what I may be doing wrong, the first few DVDs that were smaller backed up flawlessly? None of the latest batched will play on on computer, 2 DVD players, or Xbox like the others. Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks

    John
