While trying to copy a set of DVD files with DVD Shrink, about 62% of the burn process I received and error "Operation Cannot Continue Out of Memory" The DVD I was trying to burn is a copy, its weird, DVD Shrink fails its analysis as 24% so does Nero Recode 2. DVD Decrypter fails at 71% and Nero Vision Express stalls at 76% everytime. I was able to use Clone DVD to rip the files to my HD but when I try to use the ripped files, I get the error message stated above. I also tried to use SlySoft's Clone DVD and it fails at 25% with an error saying that "Media may be unreadable, please clean surface" Any thoughts on this? It just puzzles me that it stated that the system is out of memory with the specs I have...weird. Here is the lof I got from Recode 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ********** Nero Recode 2 ********** Project type: Copy entire DVD Target size: DVD5 (2282925) Burn settings: Target: Memorex DVD16+/-DL4RWlD2 Number of copies: 1 Write speed: 11080 KB/s Temp folder: C:\Documents and Settings\Rommel Dela Rosa\Desktop (24539070464 bytes free) Direct burning: true Target media: DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD+R9 Double Layer Shutdown when finished: false Advanced Analysis: false Compress Adaptive: false 08:09:39 File burn_dvdfiles.cpp, Line 231 Compile DVD: init VTS_01 Title Vobs [16892 vobus] 4462.62MB -> 4458.66MB [R 1.00] Video: 3981.83MB, extra: 476.83MB Audio: 1 streams 0. 0. Hi there, Noticed you have InCD Loaded. Try with InCD Disabled and/or uninstalled. Even if InCD is made by Nero, it seems to conflicts with other burning tools. You are using 15% of the memory, so there should be plenty of memory left ! Will it work if you burn at 2x or 4x ? The copy you have, have you ran a CRC Read check on it ? DVDInfoPro can do a media scan (CRC check) on your copy. If it's having a hard time ready certain sectors, maybe the memory usage increases until it dies. Maybe your copy is unreadable ? Can you shrink, rip and burn other stuff ? Maybe it's just THAT media (copy) that is bad !
@haza12d, In addition to cougar_ii's reply... - you're burning far too close to edge of disc, back it off to say, 4300MB - see here - - edit out the serial numbers, they're probably being copied around the internet as i type - sounds too old to me - found this - http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?p=1008890#post1008890 where it states that you have the latest firmware for your drive (looks like it's a rebadged Lite-On SOHW-1673S btw) - yup, Nero is too old it doesn't recognise your drive - update Nero - that 0MB doesn't look good, update your Nero - that would appear to be v good media hopefully - slow it down to maybe 4x, less chance of errors even after fixing all the above
