   When backing up a DVD / DVD Shrink the recording speed started out to be 1.2x is down to 1x when I am using a 4x DVD burner and blank DVD's. Is there any way of correcting (or adjust) the write speed to 4x so it doesn't tak 2 hrs to record.

   We'll need some info.
   
   Make/model burner and firmware version. Is the burner internal or external?
   
   Version #'s of Shrink and Nero.
   
   Brand/type discs you're using.
   
   ASPI version. Are all drives set to DMA?
