I went to make a backup of phonebooth yesterday using dvd shrink, what ever is the newwest verision. When i hit back up it went to back it up then all of a sudden a pop up window came up saying something like "copywrite protection". I was wondering does the probelm lie in the movie or in dvd shrink? I ended up using dvd decryptor to back the movie up and then compressed it with dvd shrink from the files and not the CD. Any help would be appreciated. thanks nik
Hi Nik, Every once in a while Shrink gets funny and does something like you stated. Sometimes if you start to play the original movie in your player software(WinDVD-PowerDVD) for a few seconds, then stop it and open Shrink,it will work properly. See if that helps. If it doesn't, be advised there are a few movies Shrink has problems with. Using Decrypter as you did is the work around. Good luck. Jerry
