I've just copied a dvd with dvd shrink and nero6 using the reauthor option. the movie is perfect, but the extras have several breaks. the image sometimes freezes and the subtitles go on and vice versa.
I don't know what version of Shrink you are using, but as this program is evolving rapidly there are lots of versions. Version 3.1.6 was fixed to address freezing and skipping issues. 3.1.6 is considered to be the current stable version. The most recent betas are 3.1.7b1 and 3.1.7b2. There is also a beta for Win98: 3.1.6b7w98lite. According to the developer, betas are being released during the week so people can try them out, check out the Shrink forum at: http://forum.digital-digest.com/forumdisplay.php?s=ba77eb4810c291e835ce59f05b02702a&forumid=48 Freezing and skipping is usually a media error but if the subtitles are going on by themselves that is most likely an earlier version of Shrink. I had that problem a couple of weeks ago so that must have been 3.1.2 or another early version. Frank
