I just started using dvd shrink.
After decoding a movie I tried to back it up, then I clicked backup the movie was gone.
Anyone know where it went to. DVD Shrink doesn't give you a choice where to put the files.
I searched all my drives using different file extentions to no avail.

If you clicked backup, you never had the movie to disappear. The Shrink had only done an initial analysis of the video. When you hit backup Shrink starts the encoding process and then either sends the files to a temp folder to be burned or to the HD. Depending on the movie size and if you used deep analysis, it could take a little while. Default is to burn with Nero. Other tasks require you to make selections.

It appears you need to read the guide. There are good guides here at AD, at Doom9.org and at DVDShrink.info. If you read the guide you will better understand the process and the controls and options with Shrink. It can do simple burns and edit. In fact, when I started, I printed out the guide so I would have it handy.

    [bold]So, read the guide.[/bold]
