DVD Shrink - playback problems, some discs work on PC but not on DVD player

    I have copied 3 movies with shrink and they play on the computer, but not on two of my tv dvd players. my friend made a copy of one of my copies and it played on my tv dvd.

    what brand of discs are you using , +R or -R and what is the burn speed ?

    Check and see if your friend's re-burn is a -R.

    my friend copied on a plus r all are 4.7 gb 16x speed and 120 min. thanks.

    Perhaps, it's merely the brand of media used. Did you and your friend use the same blank DVDs?

    Well maybe your friend has 'bitset/booktyped' his +Rs to read as DVD-ROM.
