dvd shrink problem

    copied a movie and burned it. i got amessage saying that it would not play in this region. checked and it was ntsc . what happened ? it worked previously. am i missing something in dvd shrink, same thing happened in both the old and newer version

    Hi dagodan,

    If this is the message I'm thinking of it says:

    "This DVD appears to be R.C.E. protected!
    If you CORRECTLY specify the region for which this DVD was intended, DVD Shrink will remove the R.C.E. protection."

    This is not referring to PAL or NTSC.


    Just select the circle to "Specify Region" and then enter the region code for this movie, selecting the correct region from the drop down menu.
    Shrink will remove the R.C.E. protection for you and your disc will be region-free.
