Hello,is there anyone out there that can help me?If so I would appreciate it so much!So here's the deal.I use Dvd Fab to decode(i think that's what it does)my movie then when thats done i open dvd shrink to shrink the file.during shrinking(maybe about half way)with no warning my computer just shuts completely down?HMMMM.wHAT DO THINK THAT MAY BE?
I would check your power settings first. Your PC might think that it is is unattended while processing your movie and shutting itself down. Vulcan94
Thank you all so much.I have tried shrinking movies while muli-tasking and not multi-tasking.I have tried to shrink movies with only dvd shrink running.So the good thing is that I tried shrinking the new Katt Williams 'It's Pimpin' Pimpin' and it worked just fine.Shortly after that (With no other programs or other folders open)i tried to shrink "This Christmas".Sure enough somewhere in the middle of doing that my computer just shutdown. :-(. Somebody please help me!!!!!
Have you checked the inside of your computer for dust buildup and to see if all the fans are working?
I haven't check the fans yet but i will. The funny thing is that it shut off on one movie then i tried a different movie and it didn't shut off.then i tried a totally different like "journey to the center of the earth" movie then it shut off again.it always seems to happen somewhere about half way thru.Maybe it's something that DVD FAB is doing or not doing to the movie?or maybe there's a replacement for dvd shrink?i hope not because i like them both but if so i'm always open to new things.THANKS again everyone sooo much. -p.s. i will check the fans-
So...I finally got a chance to come home and open my computer.i took the fan out and it WAS PACKED with dust!!I cleaned it out and put everything back,tried some movies and NOW I'M BACK IN BUSINESS!!!!!I just wanted to take the time and thank everyone who replied to me.THANK YOU ALL SOOO SOOO MUCH!!!WOW SUCH A SIMPLE LITTLE THING.Now it's beginning to feel alot like Christmas!!!
